First Transmission

Welcome, everyone, to Aural Sensitivities! I've set up this bloggything to indulge my consuming obsession with music and audio. Here I'll be writing reviews of albums, concerts and audio gear, and ranting about why there is no reason in the 21st century for you not to demand the best quality audio you can.

These posts will be arrogant, elitist, unreasonable and downright delusional. You have been warned.

I'm crazy about both modern progressive metal and '70s prog rock. I love obscure and weird metal, especially black, stoner/doom and psychedelic. Quite a few guilty pleasures. In the reviews I'll try and cover a wide gamut of genres. In total I've got about 300 albums in various forms.

I hope that you'll be able to discover some cool new artists and albums, learn about why I think hi-fi audio is so important and discuss your opinions on music!
